AMSTERDAM, March 4, 2021 – Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K), one of the world’s leading public relations firms, has appointed business strategy consultant, Jan-Paul van Term, as CEO in the Netherlands.

Alongside the day-to-day management of H+K Netherlands, Van Term will lead the expansion of the market’s existing corporate advisory services, which includes reputation management, crisis + issues and financial transactions communication, into risk advisory, digitalization, ESG consultancy and governance advisory.

Previously an equity partner at AT Kearney and KPMG Advisory, Van Term has extensive experience in strategy consulting, specifically focusing on new business models, digitalization and the development of commercial strategies for clients. He has spent the past two years as an independent strategy consultant, and has also worked at Quintel Strategy Consulting, BCG and Unilever. Van Term holds an MBA from INSEAD and is currently a commissioner at engineering firm Tauw and at Mega Windforce.

Van Term succeeds Jack de Vries who after 10 years on the H+K Netherlands’ board, the last three as CEO, is keen to dedicate his focus to advising clients on public affairs and crisis + issues management, two areas that are growing at pace in the market.
