26 October, 2021, BERLIN/DÜSSELDORF/FRANKFURT – Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K), one of the world’s leading global communications firms, is expanding its German management team with the promotion of Romina Gerhards to Managing Director.
In her new role, Gerhards joins the agency’s highest management body in Germany, which consists of Susanne Marell, Udo Becker, Catherine Dächert-Tessier, Miriam Holbe, Andreas Kloevekorn, André Wigger and Thomas Wimmer.

Since 2019, Gerhards has been part of H+K’s global network of Innovation + Creative Hubs, leading H+K Germany’s Content + Publishing Strategy and Digital Planning + Optimization teams with a continually growing client portfolio. Gerhards previously built up H+K Germany’s Technology practice and before joining H+K, held senior positions at Bauer Media Group and communications agency, Achtung!. She also has many years’ experience as a journalist.

Simultaneously, Lisa Kläver joins H+K Germany’s Content + Digital team as Social Media Manager, reporting to Gerhards. Kläver brings significant experience in community management, content marketing, campaign management and SEO, most recently as Social Media Manager at the digital agency MRM, and previously at Achtung!.
“With the addition of Lisa, we have gained a talented and versatile social media expert for our team and clients,” added Gerhards. “This will allow us to further expand our content + digital expertise and better serve our clients' needs on topics such as performance-driven social campaigns, social CEO and community building.”
