September 27, 2021, AUSTRALIA – Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K), one of the world’s leading global communications companies, has appointed Amelia Tipping as Managing Director of its Australia operation. Based in Sydney, and reporting to HS Chung, President, H+K Asia, Amelia (Millie) Tipping will join H+K Asia’s senior leadership team with a focus on driving local expertise and cross-market collaboration to deliver broader capabilities for clients and accelerate business growth across the region.

Millie brings more than 18 years of integrated agency leadership and campaign experience to the role of Managing Director and will continue to shape the agency’s purpose-led communications offering and deliver PR and content publishing strategies alongside a local and regional team of world class Consumer, Technology, Public Affairs, and Corporate Reputation specialists.

Effective October 1st, Millie will replace Mandy Galmes who is leaving the agency after three years as CEO to pursue a new opportunity.

Millie’s appointment follows a raft of team hires and key promotions in 2021 in response to new client wins and diversification of services.

Elevating regional Public Affairs capabilities, Anna O’Sullivan has been promoted to Managing Partner, Strategic Communications and Public Affairs to lead all strategic communications and public affairs opportunities across Asia.

Strengthening technology communications capabilities, Mark Lensyzyn will step up into the role of Asia Technology Practice Lead and LG-One Network Director to elevate the growth of this sector across the region.

Marcha Van Den Heuvel has resumed the role of Business Director and will take on the increased responsibility of managing H+K Australia’s business development function alongside the Australia leadership team.
