March 10, SAN FRANCISCO – Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K), international public relations agency, has appointed Chip Scarinzi as Senior Vice President, Technology in the U.S.
Scarinzi comes to H+K from Ketchum where, as Senior Vice President, he played a pivotal role in building the company’s tech presence in the Bay Area and across the network. Throughout his career, he has focused on the intersection of tech and industries, including sports, automotive, and home, including bringing Kohler’s smart home story to CES and leading US communications efforts on behalf of TomTom. This new post represents a homecoming, as Scarinzi began his career in the New York office of H+K as an account coordinator.
Scarinzi’s appoint adds to H+K’s growing Technology practice in the US. In October 2019, H+K brought on John Derryberry as Executive Vice President overseeing the firm’s Technology practice.
Scarinzi has also authored Diehards, a work of non-fiction on the causes and impacts of sports fandom.
H+K has offices in more than 40 countries worldwide, delivering award winning campaigns to clients across all sectors and disciplines and with a focus on continued innovation for the industry. Recent innovations include Flight School +, a crisis communications training and simulation tool, Better Impact™, a new approach to brand purpose and CSR, and H+K Smarter™, a behavioral science unit.
