October 22, 2020, NEW YORK – Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K), one of the world’s leading public relations firms, has been selected by California Walnut Board & Commission to enhance the communications programs and platforms serving its grower and handler community.

H+K will be responsible for managing California Walnuts’ grower and handler communications, drawing on the agency’s deep expertise in agriculture, content and publishing, government and public affairs and earned and social media alongside H+K’s in-house creative team, the Studio.

The California Walnut Board (CWB) and California Walnut Commission (CWC), which supports the industry to help build sustainable growth domestically and internationally. The CWB and CWC represent the California walnut industry, which is made up of nearly 100 handlers and over 4,500 growers. California walnuts are more than 99 percent of U.S. production of English walnuts and two-thirds of the world trade.
