As London Tech Week kicked off on Monday, the world’s heavyweight tech companies descended on the capital. Ford’s Smart Mobility business unit stole the headlines through supporting the company’s ambition as a major tech player. At a partner event with Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, Ford’s newly appointed President of EMEA, Steven Armstrong announced a new innovation office based at London’s Here East with print coverage in the Daily Mail, The Times, Evening Standard and City AM, along with an article on Bloomberg following an exclusive interview leading to global headlines.

On Tuesday, Candace hosted the 4th Annual PRCA Ignite Show on Digital Creativity. Held at the office-envy inducing Twitter headquarters, the co-host was Helen Lawrence, EMEA Head of Creative Agencies (and a former H+K D2 speaker). Talks ranged from the ‘power of hate’ to ’embracing lazy customers’. Candace opened  the history of the humble, powerful GIF in ’30 Years of Digital Creativity’ and Helen ended the evening with a look at the future of VR and 360 video. We can’t wait for #PRCA_Ignite 2018.

To help drive ticket sales for the Aegon Championships at Queens, the LTA team in Sports created a tennis themed hamper to ensure media and bloggers were ready and prepped for the grass court season. Inside, they could find a tennis themed picnic, a host of Queens goodies and a couple of additional bits to help get them in the tennis zone. The hampers were delivered directly to their desks for them to enjoy in the office and included two tickets to the opening day itself.
