Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K), the global public relations and integrated communications agency, has announced the centralisation of its Business Development and Marketing efforts under Sam Lythgoe, effective immediately.
“Sam has been an integral part of the company for 20 years now. Throughout our time working together, she has taken the Business Development and Marketing teams from strength to strength, working tirelessly to cement H+K’s position as a trusted client partner and a strategic, creative and innovative leader in the industry. I have no doubt that she will continue to go above and beyond to make the company excel in this area as One H+K,” said Lars Erik Grønntun, H+K Global President.
With her extensive experience at H+K, Sam Lythgoe has global vision and connection. Prior to taking on a business development role, she started the consumer tech practice in the London office and led a number of clients, including TomTom and BT. Within the last decade, she has increased the agency’s business conversion around the globe by embedding H+K’s purpose-driven approach.
Sam’s innovative approach has been shown on numerous occasions, leading programmes such as H+K HER, developed to respond directly to feedback from staff of both genders that requested information, inspiration and support to female employees as they develop throughout their careers. Sam was nominated as one of the Power Part Time List in 2015 and helped numerous executives and teams to achieve relevant industry awards.
“I am thrilled about the future of H+K as we continue working towards a stronger, unified global agency,” said Sam. “Our One H+K approach, underpinned by the Fifth Seat proposition, enables us to deliver services in a clear and compelling way. We have the tools and expertise to support our clients, whenever and wherever is needed.”
