Alexander Döll
CEO, H+K Strategies Africa
Alexander Döll is the CEO of H+K Africa. Based in Nairobi (Kenya). Döll formerly managed the East African region of H+K beginning in 2010. His new brief is to drive growth, strategic communications and top level client service across the continent. Before relocating to Africa, Döll was based in The Netherlands where he was responsible for the Corporate and Internal & Change Communications practice groups. He consulted to both listed and unlisted companies across Europe.
Döll is an all around communications professional and has broad experience in corporate, internal and change communications. He has specific expertise in communications prior to and during organizational restructuring, crisis communications, IPO/M&A communications and in the area of corporate social responsibility (CSR). He also has a strong background in the airline industry. Over the past 17 years he worked for KLM, Malaysia Airlines, Ethiopian Airlines, Emirates, airport operator Schiphol Group and aircraft manufacturer Fokker.
Döll currently consults to a range of clients across multiple African markets in the telecommunications, banking and FMCG industries as well as NGO’s and governments including Airtel, MasterCard, Coca-Cola, Nokia, Procter & Gamble, USAID and the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF).
Other Information
Döll holds a Bachelor Degree in Leisure Management/Mass Communication and a Master Degree in Corporate Communication from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. He speaks Dutch, English and German. He is a Board Member of the American Chamber of Commerce Kenya (ACCK). His task is to foster the bonds of friendship, greater cultural understanding, cooperation and dialogue between Kenyan and US business professionals.
